Two feline records have been broken in the latest edition of the "Guinness Book of World Records," released last week. The tallest and longest domestic cat records are held by Scarlett's Magic, an F1 Savannah.
Scarlett's Magic measures 18.07 in. (45.90 cm.) tall and 42.72 inches (108.51 cm) long. Kimberly and Lee Draper own the cat, who held the previous record but broke it as she continued to grow.
The 2011 Guinness Book of World Records went on sale Sept. 15. Additional cat records this year include "Oldest Cat" Creme Puff, who lived with Jerry Perry in Austin, Texas, for 38 years and 3 days. This edition also offers tales from the broader animal kingdom like Fluffy, the "Longest Snake Ever" at 24 feet, and Colo, the "Oldest Gorilla in Captivity" at 53 years old.
