SINGING sensation Susan Boyle has notched up three Guinness World Records.

Her accolades are fastest-selling album by a female in the UK, most successful UK debut album sale and the oldest artist to reach No1 with a debut album in both America and Britain.

SuBo - who sang for the Pope on Thursday - will feature in the new Guinness World Records 2011, out this week.

Susan, from Blackburn, West Lothian, said: "This is a real honour. I used to read this book as a wee girl.

"I never dreamt that one day I would actually appear in the Guinness Book of Records.

"I only ever wanted to sing and perform. This is truly fantastic."

SuBo shot to fame at last year's Glasgow audition for Britain's Got Talent.

The audience were stunned at the dowdy singer's rendition of I Dreamed A Dream and the clip became a worldwide internet sensation.

Her YouTube video has been watched almost 49million times.

Her debut album I Dreamed A Dream sold 411,820 copies in its first week in the UK, trouncing the previous record held by the Arctic Monkeys.

It went on to sell more than a million copies in just three weeks - making it the fastest-selling album by a female in the UK, breaking the record held by Dido for Life For Rent.

Susan was 48 when the album debuted at No1 in the US and UK.
