A doctor, prescribed by the authorities at the Guinness Book of World Records, was present with Ashish for the entire period. The doctor kept checking his health con dition every four hours.
“I always wanted to do something that would bring Mathura on the World map,” Ashish said.
“By chance, I saw that someone had set a record in watching films and I thought I would break it.
More so because I love watching films,” Ashish told this correspondent on phone.
Excited at having surpassed the previous world record, Ashish said that very soon he would like to break his own record.
“But right now I am too exhausted and would like to rest for a few days,” he said.
Ashish Sharma will be issued the title after one month when the data is scrutinised by the Guinness authorities.
