BCM school Ludiyana India wins Limca Book of Record Quiz 2010

BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School on Friday won the Ludhiana city finals of Limca Book of Records Quiz, 2010. The winners from the winning school in Ludhiana will now be among the 80 schools to compete in the semi-finals. Satpaul Mittal School was the runners up.
Around 182 students from 33 schools participated from Ludhiana, of which six schools competed in the city finals.
The winning team was felicitated by D P Singh, senior vice-president of Ludhiana Beverages Pvt Ltd, franchise partner of Coca-Cola India.
Also, present at the event was Jasmine Jawanda, Limca Book of Records holder for having the longest eye lashes and Mrs Paramjit Singh Kaur, Principal, BCM Arya Model School.
The multi-city initiative has been launched in partnership with ‘Know and Grow with Derek’ and involves participation of young geniuses from Class VIII XII. As part of the initiative, series of quiz competitions are being organized across 3,500 schools across 100 cities divided into four zones — North, South, East and West.
