Currently he is finished his 101-hour piano recital in Poland's northern city of Gdansk, setting a new Guinness world record for the longest piano playing.

The 54-year-old musician started playing at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday and finished Sunday afternoon, making it into the Guinness Book of World Records. His record-breaking recital consisted of classical musical compositions, jazz fragments and famous movie soundtracks and lasted for a total of 101 hours, 8 minutes and 3 seconds.

The musician was allowed to repeat musical fragments once in four hours, with breaks between the fragments not exceeding 30 seconds. He was also allowed to take a 5-minute break once an hour.

The concert took place in a hall open to public round the clock.

The pianist finished his brilliant performance with Fly Me To the Moon, a popular standard song written by Bart Howard in 1954 and frequently performed by Frank Sinatra.

The previous record for the longest piano playing was set by Hungarian pianist Charles Brunner in December 2008. He tickled the ivories for 101 hours and 7 minutes
