In conjunction with its Open House and Cool Car Show White Tail Resort is participating in the Guinness World Records™ Largest Skinny-Dip Across North America. The record attempt takes place at 3:00 p.m. on July 11, 2009. Skinny-dipping, a wholesome tradition as old as mankind and frequently honored in art and movies, celebrates the natural joy of plunging into water without hindrance of clothing.
In conformance with stated rules, all participants to be counted must be completely nude during the skinny-dip. First-time skinny-dippers are welcome. As with all Guinness World Records™ events, all record attempts will be "witnessed" by a designated "member in standing" of the local community.
During White Tail Resort's Open House from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on July 11 & 12, 2009 the general public is invited to discover what clothes free recreation offers them and their families. The Open House is free for all first time visitors, who are most welcome to stay clothed unless using one of our pools, the hot tub or the sauna.
Members and visitors are invited to display their antique, custom or special interest vehicles at the "Cool Car Show" on Sunday, July 12, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Numerous trophies will be awarded in many categories. There is no entry fee for participants and spectators; those attending are most welcome to stay clothed.
White Tail Resort, established in 1984, is the only landed clothes free recreation facility in Virginia. Through the years White Tail has become a favorite vacation spot for over 600 members and numerous visitors. The resort maintains affiliations with the American Association for Nude Recreation, the Federation of Canadian Naturists, the Naturist Society, and the American Association for Nude Recreation Eastern Region.
