Participants blow into their conch shells as they try to establish a Guinness world record for most participants blowing conch shells simultaneously in Key Largo, Florida April 17, 2009. The event attracted 127 participants. No world record for conch shell blowers currently exists and organizers expect to wait a few months to discover if their effort qualifies. The conch shell is a symbol of the Florida Keys.
