Most Hula Hoops Hooped Simultaneously World Record

Circus Flora, in St Louis, Missouri, USA, the professional circus artist and star performer in Circus Flora's “Medrano”, Aleysa Gulevich (USA), broke the record for the most hula hoops hooped simultaneously, setting the mark at 107.

With nearly five complete rotations (the Guinness World Records guidelines state that at least three rotations must be completed) under the Circus Flora red and white big top tent, Alyeysa achieved her third world record in this category: 99 in 2004 and 101 in 2006. This time she had to break the record set by Jin Linlin (China) on 28 October 2007, with 105 hula hoops.

Guinness World Records Adjudicator Carlos Martínez, was present at Aleysa's attempt and presented her with a Guinness World Records certificate officializing this new achievement in an event sponsored by Sesco Northwest.

Aleysa Gulevich was born into a very famous circus family of Belarus, being her parents clown Fiodor Goulevich and aerialist Nadezda Bilenko. When she was five years old Aleysa debuted on a Christmas Show. By the age of twelve, her father created her first original routine, a comedy bicycle/unicycle act, which she performed throughout Russia with her family. When she was fourteen, she created her own hula-hoops act, which she later became famous for. From then to the present, she has travelled around the world delighting audiences with her unique and artistic style.

Now, being a three times Guinness World Records holder, Aleysa is looking forward to improve her own mark in a near future record attempt, while starring at Circus Flora’s this year’s production
