Daz from London tipped the meter at 108 decibels at the event organised by Disney to mark the DVD and Blu-ray release of Bolt.
He then took part in the group effort which reached 115 decibels, four higher than the previous record set last year in the US state of Vermont.
Marco Frigatti of Guinness World Records said: "Dogs bark for a variety of reasons, to attract attention or express excitement. Today they barked to become Guinness World Record holders. Congratulations."
